This site started life as DATA - Daventry Area Tourers Association - 21st
September 2007 for campers in and around the Daventry District of
Northamptonshire. It quickly gained popularity with members Nationwide and
so it was soon renamed Carry on Camping to allow members Worldwide to join in.
With new members joining daily, we pride ourselves on being a friendly
community, not only willing to help each other with technical know-how, camp
site reviews, hints and tips but a fairly relaxed community of like-minded
people sharing a banter of life in general.

Today I tried mixing cream rice with Marmite, it was disgusting

I saw an advert for a "FREE HOLIDAY" and it actually WAS free! All I had to pay for were the flights, accommodation, food and drinks. What a bargain

About four weeks ago I changed my tow vehicle to an '06 Vauxhall Signum. Now please don't all laugh and think I've gone stark raving. 
Its a 3 litre, V6 turbo diesel with oodles of power ...

Im hoping to fit a leisure battery to our rather wonderful VDub camper (pictures to follow shortly). Could any of you experienced types give me some idea what kind of capacity this provides....
