The campsite is situated behind a picture postcard pub. The owners were very friendly and laid back.

If you are looking for a non commercial site with a 'back to nature' feel, I would recommend this site. The cost of our electric hook up was £11 a night, and we could arrive any time, and leave any time. Very relaxing!

We ate in the Deers Hut pub on the Friday night, and enjoyed the meal we had.

The facilities consist of ladies and gents toilets and shower, the shower costs 20 pence and lasts around 2 mins (it recomends 3 x 20p to enjoy an average shower). All facilites are very clean however old and really could do with mondernisation (the shower curtain had a bit of black mould).

We would definitely return to this site, but not in high season only because of the lack of showers as it would probably get busy.
