Going on the 24th of November for a week. Will bring pics back. Looks nice and £69 for a 7 day deluxe pitch stay is pretty excellent

| Just looked on their website Diane. I filled out the online form and it showed £93. I then removed the 3 dogs and it showed £69 so I can only think that they charge for dogs. |

The offer according to booking is for two adults and an awning and then in small print it states" All extras are full price and no other discounts apply.". It dose say on the form that dogs are £1 each...That should work out at £90 which is pretty good for a deluxe pitch. We are not taking the dogs this time.

We went to Dornafield for the first time in June last year and it has to be one of my favourite sites.
There is the Buttermeadow and Blackrock Copse areas for caravans and The Orchard for tents. Unless you particularly want your own chemical toilet disposal point, I would recommend that you pitch in Buttermeadow as it is cheaper but still has individual taps and grey water drain. The pitches around the toilet block in Buttermeadow appeared to be the most spacious than the other end where the vans seemed hemmed in.
The toilet block in Buttermeadow was very impressive with the best laid out showers I have seen. And it has Radio 2 piped in!
The shop is well stocked and takes daily orders for fresh bread, croissants and newspapers. Necxt to the shop is a big games room an upstairs is an information room. A fish and chip van visits the site twice a week and I think that entertainment is laid on occasionally (not by the fish and chip van!).
I'll try and dig a photo out of the site and bung it on here. |

We went to Dornafield last xmas for a week and found it to be a lovely site. The owners were very welcoming and the site was spotless. The toilet and shower block has wone loo of the year awards and the showers have underfloor heating!!!
Good dog walking field
loads of full service pitches
very well kept site
Going back again for new year (cant wait) |

We are off there on the 16th for 8 days. By the way they explained the facilities I think it must be Blackrock because I recall him saying each pitch had its own chemical disposal. All I need now is for Her Ladyship to let me buy a laptop to make use of the Wi -Fi somehow I don't think thats gonna happen though As long as she has her new TV with cable TV on the pitch she don't care about His Windyship. I got to end this post now cos I'm getting too tearful ... waaaaaaaa waaaaaaaaa |

I've just got Her Ladyship in a headlock, pressing her snout against my monitor so she can see your post Gary |

| A couple of photo's from our visit to Dornafield last year. In the first photo, the toilet block is to the left just out of shot and the path that can be seen by the hedge on the left cuts through to the tent area. |

Forgot to mention in my little write up. When leaving the A381 towards the site, the lanes are very narrow in places, so it's worth taking your time. |

Width is the main problem on the lanes leading to the site but there are occasional passing places as I recall.
You shouldn't have any problems with your length. Ph'naar! Ph'naar! |
