A castels site with around 80 pitches all with Ehu it has bar restaurant and swimming pool and is in the grounds of a chateau,with a walk down to a large lake.In the grounds is a large fenced area containing deer.The site is 12km North of Limoge if you are into porcelain and 2km from the A20 autoroute.Not far away is the village of Oradour- sur- Glane (google it)this a village which on 10th June 1944 was surrounded by the SS who rounded up the entire population and murdered the lot,the village as a memorial has been left how it was on that day.With rusting remains of the doctors car in the road and several others in garages.It is very weird place to visit you feel as though you are intruding but at the same time feel you owe it to them to visit.Handy site if heading to the med as half wayish from ferries.
