Hi all.
Just got back from 2 nights at Lucksall CC site. The site as recently become affiliated to the CC network with some of the pitches being very large. We had pitch 23

We did end up using our own shower though and not because they were 20p for 3 minutes but because they are at the rear of the site next to all the statics and it is a big site with only 5 showers for each for him & hers, the elsan room is also located here so you need strong arms when its time to empty the cassett depending on where you are pitched.

The toilet blocks are dated but very clean and the site is mantained to a very high standard considering the size of it and the location is excellent.

We would use this site again but probably avoid the summer hols as I would imagine it could come become quite hectic.

Hopefully now they come under the CC they will provide more showers. When driving by I've noticed they've made some hardstandings next to the river and wooden steps. The two furthest areas are intended for rallies although they might use them if theres no rally on.
