This site is well worth a visit if you wish to go to Oxford or the Cotswolds,it is very clean and well organised all hard standing even for tents, which as well as pitches amongst the caravans it also has a special part for them with it's own facilities and kitchen area, could not look at this on our visit as there where no tents using that part so it was shut.
Just before you turn into the site there is a village pub "The Black Horse" which does lovely meals and has a family room and a marque for families, prices are reasonable and service is very good. When you turn into the site there is the reception on your right, with a big playing field for children on your left(no dog's allowed) they have there own dog walk area, also there is a giant chess/draughts board on your left by the information room.
Behind the reception ther are 2 swimming pools small/large which can be hired fro private sessions, all the facilities we used were very clean.
There is a family room which has a full adult sized bath/baby bath/sink and toilet, also there is a disabled room which has a wet floor shower in it.The staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them, they have wifi which cost us £10.50 for the week or they have a computer for £3.00 for half an hour if I remember rightly, please check on this. |

Thanks for the review Ricky. We stay at this site at least once a year and love it.
I think the toilets are the best I have seen, do they still have the music playing?
I dont think it is the cheapest around but you do get your moneys worth.
I guess the only one thing I didn't like was that all the site roads were chunky gravel so if anyone goes out early morning it tends to wake everyone
I remember just down the road from the site is a place that imports RV's. They were amazing!
Great review!
