HI All,

We stayed at this site for a couple of nights over Bank hol but only just had a chance to prepare a review.

Booking can be made for this site through available pitch and it was showing full, we headed to another CL for the first night and then the following day rang this site and they had a cancellation.

It is Situated on the main road between Broad Haven and Simpson Cross. Directions in the site guide are simple. You turn off the main road onto a single track lane, you then turn left into "unmade road". It was very bumpy and not sure how much good it would do if going in and out for a week. You literally had to be nearly on stop to get through. Once you have gone down this half mile track you reach the site, there is a farmhouse on the right and the site on the left. On google earth it looks like the road takes you directly to the coast road but it DOESN'T. On from the farm house is just a muddy grass line that I imagine in the summer could be walked through but definitely not for cars.

The owner was pleasant and came out to welcome us. The site overlooks St Davids head and has stunning views from the top area. It is sloping so you will need blocks. Although only 5 pitches there was about 10 hook up boxes so you can really spread out. Hook up is 6 amps so no hairdryers or kettles althogh we found the 1500watt hairdryer worked, maybe because the site wasn't full.

There is a drain next to the house which you lift open to empty your toilet and a tap in the corner of the field for fresh water.

Behind the site is just fields. It really is peaceful. TV reception was fair on our Image aerial. The cost I think was £10 but not 100% sure.

The owners told us they were selling the farm and CL to move away from the sea which is a great shame as the site really is wonderful.

The only disadvantage I can really think of is the lane but well worth it for the view at the end.

Hope this helps.

Ian
