We stayed at this site for two nights over the Bank Holiday, it was a spur of the moment booking but we were very pleased when we arrived.
It took us an hour to get there and was very easy to find once we came off the M25.
You would not believe that you are only a few miles from South East London, you are surrounded by pretty countryside in what feels like the middle of nowhere. The site is the usual high club standard, the reception area was very pretty with lots of flowers and the grounds very well kept. Showers and toilets exeptional, the washing up area even had dish drainers and washing up liquid supplied, the site has a nice overall feel to it.
The site is very large but quiet with quite a number of seasonal pitches; however it did not seem busy or over crowded, there were two children's play areas one for the smaller chidren and another for the older ones, there is also a football field and a giant chess game.
With flat pitches in pleasant wooded copses, some hard standing and some on grass, we had a grass pitch which OH said he prefers. We walked round the site when we arrived and picked our pitch before we towed the van to it. TV reception was excellent and we got all the freeview channels
The site staff are very helpful and friendly who go out of their way to assist, they held a table sale on the Sunday to raise money for the upkeep and extra bits for the site, we bought an extra water hog for £6.
Overall we loved this site and would definitely return in the future. |

Nice photos Dawnie. The children's play area looks very good - it's a pity that most CC sites don't have the same level of play equipment.

Haven't really thought about it Ian but we could try and organise something, I'll have a chat with Sue we are free most of July too, mind you the kids will be on holidays from around the 22nd so the site might be booked up, we could have a look and see and try and organise something |
