This is a great park. A few statics/lodges but the caravan part of site is great. It's not big. There is one area that is totally dog free and another bit that's for pet owners. The toilet, showers and laundry facilities are perfectly adequate and are spotless. There is Access/dog walk down to the river side. Access to the Golf club. We always have a fully serviced pitch (Think there are 6 of these). The site has leisure facilities that both parents and kids will love. There's a charge for this. There is also a hairdressers. The onsite bar/resturant "The Loft" is fantastic. Great food at great prices. Dogs are welcome (obviously not in the resturant)
The bar in the hotel " The Roundhouse" also allows dogs. the chippie is out of this world. Not to mention Blair Castle

CON :
Charging 20p for hot water in the washing up area. How mean !!!

I'll have a look to see if I can find some photo's but I'm now really one for taking pic's . I've been here 3 times and never had a prob with midges. The fully serviced pitches are gravelled ( I didn't look at the other ones) so the smoke from the BBQ would keep them away if there was any. Fully serviced Pitches 27, 28 or 30 are good. 29 is good but there a silly lamp post that makes leaving a pain if you don't have a mover

If I was on a fully serviced pitch I'd be using my own shower with the electric I'd already paid for. They can whistle for their 20p Laughing

I agree. When poss I always go for fully serviced but I never use the site washing up sinks anyway. I was emptying the loo and it was some campers that couldn't figure out why there was no hot water for washing up and asked me. Only then did I see the 20p slot. I gave them hot water from my van.
